Description

The AQUAPHOR MAXFOR+ replaceable filter provides universal protection against a number of contaminants that are often found in tap water. It improves the taste and smell of water, while reducing the rate of scale formation in your kettle or coffee maker due to hard water. The replaceable filter effectively reduces water hardness, chlorine, heavy metals, iron, pesticides, organic impurities and other contaminants.

MAXFOR+ contains Aqualen™ - a patented ion-exchange fiber technology with 33 times the filtration area of classic ion-volume technologies used in water filters. Combined with fine activated carbon from coconut shells and active silver technology, Aqualen™ provides extremely high purification performance, while providing longer-lasting filter protection from bacteria and microbes. In addition, the ion-exchange fiber irreversibly removes heavy metals from water such as lead, iron, mercury and radioactive isotopes.

Aquafor replacement filters effectively reduce the most harmful impurities in tap water. These include:

Sediments such as rust, sand, mud, pollen

Before using a new replacement filter, it should be soaked in water as described in the instructions.
