The Seven Oceans Emergency Food Ration is a 500g pack of specially formulated high energy biscuits. It provides 2500 calories and is enough to sustain a person for 72 hours in survival situations.
The biscuit ration requires no further preparation and can be consumed straight from the box. It was created by a Norwegian company and is intended to provide a balanced diet for survival at sea, but the long-lasting biscuits can be used in any survival situation requiring a concentrated, long-lasting emergency ration.
Each vacuum-packed 500g pack provides 10,300 kJ or 2500 kcal of energy and contains the highest possible ratio of balanced nutrition to volume.
The main pack of biscuits (500g net) is divided for easy distribution, containing 18 tablets packed in 9 blocks of water and grease-proof paper. The 9 bars are vacuum packed in airtight and watertight aluminum foil. All this is packed in a waterproof cardboard box.
The shelf life of these packages is five years unconditionally from the date of manufacture indicated on the package.
In survival situations, one 500 g package provides enough nutrients to last one person for 72 hours.
